Students used padlet to share their ideas of what they thought was the most important part of the video, Seeing the Invisible. They only had three minutes, so I'm impressed that several students were able to log in, find the padlet, AND write a response.
Students learned how to play Four In A Row Integers. They were on task and interested. I saw some definite strategies for winning while walking around.
Students wrote summaries about the video Austin's Butterfly. Eight minutes of silent writing. I was impressed with the attention to the task at hand as I walked the room. Some of the summaries are retellings, but almost every student was able to write a few details about the video and why it is important to them as science students.
