I remembered to make new Google Classrooms for Trimester 2 and almost all students are signed up.
In Math, we did a sorting activity to help students visualize Distributive Property. One of my most challenging groups figured everything out quickly and finished two bags worth of the sorting. I was very proud of them.
Later, in science, I had another sorting activity. This was required students to use logic to determine whether the information on the cards referred to Cells, Plants, or Animals. Students were very attentive and I heard some good arguments for why they were sorting things a particular way. Two groups finished.
