During morning meeting we played Cross the Line and students were very surprised to find that both boys and girls have experienced being told they couldn't do something because they were a boy or a girl.
Today students used a microscope for the first time this year. It was gratifying to hear the oohs and aahs as they looked at blood, a bee's leg, dragonfly wing, and fern spores. They were attentive while sketching their observations.
